"Riehl World View: Democrats Face Two Potential Political Disasters ..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-11-19 12:12:26

Before the new year has even started. Democrats on the Hill already face two major problems that are going to be far from easy to resolve. And as the deteriorating economic situation isn't predicted to be much improved by 2010 early votes Democrats will almost have to make could put them on the defensive in the next cycle. Democratic challengers hammered incumbent Republicans over their votes for the initial bailout. Whether it was a sound move or not doesn't really matter for now. With Democrats including Obama now pushing for major relief for Detroit and Republicans balking in the lame duck session come January. Democrats are going to have to muster up all of their public relations skills to sell a Detroit package to the electorate in a decidedly bailout-unfriendly climate. And even if they pull that one off the second challenge could prove to be even more difficult. Regardless of any individual's position on comprehensive immigration reform survey after survey indicates the general public doesn't much care for it. And the standard line is not going to help much during a recession with unemployment certain to continue to rise. Will the pro-immigration lobby be patient? . Congratulations on your big win Democrats. Get back to me in two years and let me know how that .. Hispanic leaders said they provided the margin of victory in Florida. New Mexico. Colorado and Nevada. “We feel like we had a big stake in the election and that’s what prompted this historic turnout,” said Janet Murguía president of the National Council of La Raza. The advocacy group did wait long to begin publicly pushing the new president-elect to recognize this support with key White House and Cabinet positions. “At some point in the first term we would definitely expect to see an effort to move responsible immigration reform,” Ms. Murguía said. “It would be a big mistake not to act on this important priority.” "Give me your tired your poor,Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these the homeless tempest-tossed to me,I lift my lamp beside the golden door,And say 'Get the f*ck out!'" Anyone who doesn't take a hard-line stance in opposition to illegal immigration hates the United States. Period. End of story. They may not fully realize it yet but in fact that is the case. It's time to separate the wheat from the chaff on this issue. Many on the left that I've talked to say things like "I don't really feel nationalistic. I don't really think the idea of country is all that important. I'm more of a humanist". Frankly I appreciate their candor on the issue but of course they need to put the bong down for a minute or two. Look for that word "humanist" when Obama starts to tank you're going to hear it more and more. It's those people who are talking the talk about what many on the political left truly think but don't have the balls to come out and say in public. The Democrats are going to find that ID politics is a multi edge sword that they have no business trying to wield. The one-worlders may need to become more inclusive. The odds are improving that we are not alone:"Last week however together with recent images of Fomalhaut b the above picture was released showing one of first confirmed images of planets orbiting a distant Sun-like star. HR 8799 has a mass about 1.5 times that of our own Sun and lies about 130 light years from the Sun -- a distance similar to many stars easily visible in the night sky." Fred we don't have much to worry about vis-a-vie' the one-worlders you are thinking of. Look at Britain for example. They let the goat-herders in and now their whole system is in jeopary. I use Britain as an example as many parts of Europe are in even worse shape. The only one-worlders with a chance of succeeding long term are the ones calling for the return of a Caliphate. Ah yes give them Shariah Law cause we wouldn't want the Law of the Land to apply to all now would we? And creeping Shariah might just be coming here to the good old USA as well as we have a team over in the ME looking at ways to institute Islamic Banking giving the US a two-tiered system as well. What was that thing about the 14th Amendment and the laws applying equally to all? I know. I regress. Don't illegals (and those who support them) realize that if we accomodate them as they want before long we'll become just like the nations they fled? We have laws for good reasons. And will Americans realize that changing or bending laws that were meant for our protection only lead to destruction? Have we learned nothing from the financial/market meltdown? What may have seemed charitable at the time was in reality nothing of the sort. Laws that made good sense were broken. Please let's come to our senses and realize this is an insanity we're living. Go ahead with your Leftist program numbnuts. Hell go all in and let's see where it leads you. Hell man you're too dumb to see that the bluest of blue states just threw the homo agenda out the back door into the trash can. But keep up the good work. I love what passes as nutroot analysis myself. The you take the drug dealers and ship them to Hyde Park where they won't be safe or welcome.

"Political Radar: Gingrich Disputes Steele RNC Endorsement Claim" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-11-19 12:12:21

ABC News' Teddy Davis and Tahman Bradley report: Michael Steele told National Public Radio Tuesday that former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is backing the former lieutenant governor of Maryland in his bid to be the chairman of the Republican National Committee. "Newt's decided not to run for the job and he's in fact supporting me in my efforts,” Steele told NPR. "Newt is an idea guy," Steele added. "He's the professor he's the thinker. He's the one who crystallizes emotions and policy and opportunity all into a package that helps the party begin to speak with clarity on some of these complex issues. I'm very happy to have him help me do that." Steele's comments to NPR suggest that he has won Gingrich's endorsement for RNC chair which is not the case a Gingrich spokesman told ABC News. "Newt is not endorsing anybody.. and is not planning to endorse anyone," Gingrich spokesman Joe DeSantis said. "Michael is one of several RNC candidates who are running that he thinks would make a good RNC chairman," but the former House speaker is not showing a preference for anyone in particular he added. In a Nov. 12 interview on the Fox News program "Hannity and Colmes," Gingrich praised Steele as a "great great talent" when the possibility of Steele ascending to GOP chairman came up. "He certainly would offer the kind of vivid strong voice that we could use and I think that the party would do very well if he ends up being chairman," said Gingrich. "There are a number of other strong people who are running. The chairman of South Carolina is very effective good friend of mine. Saul Anuzis the chairman from Michigan is running. But Michael Steele certainly is going to be in the front ranks..." RNC members are slated to choose their next chairman when they meet in January. The party chairman will be responsible for helping the GOP regain power after a 2008 election which saw Democrats win the White House and strengthen their grip on the House and Senate. Steele who is African-American made an unsuccessful run for the U. S. Senate in 2006. Since then he has stayed active with GOPAC an organization which backs conservative candidates for office. Newt is such a cry baby he is why the party is in such disaray He championed this idea of the cut throat RNC he was how and why Tom DeLay got to be what he was and he was called the hammer. The GOP just can't help thmeselves they have to bring out the snotty remarks and vailed speach onward my friends continue on just as before. You won't see the GOP letting too many people of color or of a different stripe anytime soon. They will bring on Sarah Palin and she can be thier new hammer! That dirty EVIL Sean Hannity so evil look at his evil face When watching FOX Channel you tend to become so tense and never relaxed with this idiot fool Sean and another old ugly evil Bill O'Reilly so very negative and looking at their evil faces So disturbing Learn from Andersen Cooper and Wolf -so balanced and relaxing with their views GREAT AMERICA LOVELY AMERICAN PEOPLE NEVER AGAIN LISTEN TO EVIL SEAN AND BILL THEY WILL FACE FIRES OF HELL SO DIVISIVE AND EVIL EVIL EVIL

"Mark Cuban - Insider Trading, or Political Persecution? - Mixx" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-11-19 12:12:20

blogs nytimes com — Did Mark Cuban the Internet entrepreneur turned owner of the Dallas Mavericks basketball team and would-be buyer of the Chicago Cubs violate insider trading laws in a particularly egregious fashion? Or is he the victim of a political hit job... 704 things have been submitted from this site. This site has been endorsed by Super Mixxers. I don't know if he's guilty or not; but I also don't want to go so far as to say it's a conspiracy either. Interesting perspective in the article regardless.

"CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive ..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-11-19 12:12:06

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Soon-to-be first lady Michelle Obama will visit the White House Tuesday afternoon with her daughters. Malia and Sasha according to First Lady Laura Bush's press secretary. Sally McDonough. McDonough said Mrs. Bush had invited Mrs. Obama to visit the White House again when her daughters were available. Here's the deal folks. It's the residence of the first family and they get to make it their home. If it helps the girls it's a great idea for Michelle's mom to go with them. And guess what? ET it doesn't matter what you think about it. It's their family and their home. Get over yourself. Just what is your problem ? It must be terrible to wake up each day with your attitudes. Grow up ! You are just aggravating yourselves because the rest of us don't care what you think. It has to be awesome for these girls to have such loving parents and to be able to live the lives they are going to be able to live the next 4/8 years. Having Grandma with them is a plus. Not all of us had advantages like this. God Bless them all. I am soo proud and honored to be living in such historical times. To think in 50 years I will be telling my grand babys all we have lived through. I am a proud AMERICAN who truly believes that dreams come true for all not just the few and chosen. Please lets all support our President elect. Especially in these difficult times. May GOD bless America and President elect Obama. ET -Re your comment. "Why is the american tax payers letting Michelle's mother stay in the white house? Hillarys mother didn't stay there to help her child. Obama is acting like Bush but in a different way both think they're KINGS" I don't even know where to start. What have the family dynamics of the Clinton family or child care choices they made got to do with this? It is a great honor to be able to serve one's country as President-elect Obama is able to do and there will be plenty of wonderful opportunities for the Obama girls but as the mother of two similarly-aged girls. I can tell you how hard it is for those kids to leave friends familiar surroundings extended family etc. because of their dad's new job. If it works out that Grandma can be there a lot for them that's great. But really it's no business of mine or yours to comment - the First Family is an American family and they have privacy rights just like you and I do. One last comment then I'm done. Neither Mrs. Obama nor the President-Elect ever said that Mrs. Robinson would be residing in the White House they didn't say that on 60 Minutes nor did Michelle said that when asked in a recent interview that her Mother would be living in the White House. I do recall her saying that her Mother hadn't decided if she would be coming to DC with them but if she did they would find a place for her wherever she wanted to live. Hi Haterquit hating THis is something that black families do. They obviously trust no one but her mother to take care of the girls whats wrong with that? It will be wonderful to see the Obama Girls grow-up in a such a prestigious home. And if I were either one of them(Barack and Michelle). I would want Mrs Robinson there to look after the girls…after all both of them will be busy during day and some nights. The Obama's can have whoever they desire in the whitehouse to care for their children. We don't have anything to say about who they hire for a nanny. Do they have anything to say about who you hire for a nanny? The best person for all of them especially the children is their grandmother. I think the gorls will be totally overwhelmed and awed by the White House. How wonderful for them. I also read somewhere that Michelle's mom took care of the girls while their parents were campaigning. She will only be at the WH part-time and will also spend time in her own home in Chicago. Both she and the Obama's will be keeping their homes. ET November 18th. 2008 5:36 pm ET: Mind your business the Obama's have a right to have anyone they choose take care of their girls when they have other obligations. These children are being uprooted from their environment to be watched over by strangers. Yet you begrudge thm the comfort of their grandmother's familiar face. I'm guessing ET that you didn't grow up in a multi-generational caring household. Get a life. I'm thrilled to see that Laura B and Michelle O are putting any differences their husbands had between them aside and are getting along. Mrs. Bush had said she wanted to meet the girls and it looks like she'll get her wish. I'm sure the girls are going to be nervous at first but she's a grandmother and they'll sense that grandmother instincts. Michelle's mom at the White House will make life more real for the kids. She will help keep folks grounded and she's a tremendous help to the family. I'm GLAD if the kids granny is there. Saves on paying for a nanny. I'd rather have my kids with family than with a stranger wouldn't you? I think people are just jealous they don't get along as well with their kin. This is nice of our first lady to invite the new first lady and her children to the white house. This will be their new home so they should be able to check out the digs… These bloggers commenting on this blog are simply mean spirted and need prayer …. To ET (Why is the american tax payers letting Michelle's mother stay in the white house?) I think it is wonderful that the children will have their grandmother close at hand. Many American households include three generations and this decision underscores the Obamas' strong family values. I imagine that the cost to taxpayers would be miniscule yet the message of respect and love is huge. What a lovely family. I am the Mother of a young adult African American male and I put my son through 12 years of private school from pre through 8 graduated from a public HS in a Magnet Arts Program…whatever choice the Obama's make in terms of their children has and will be the best choice for all involved as one of the other comments stated they know what they want and what has to be considered in terms of security etc. Let's deal with the "big stuff" and leave family matters alone. They don't need people telling them what kind of "dog" to get we need to know how he is going to implement national health care and get this country back to work with all the infra-structure $ and other "important" issues like our 401k's. Social Security and that insane war. Thank you very much we did our job now let him do his and let the new First Lady do hers. Michelle's mother can stay in the White House if she wants to stay. There is no rule or law that says she cannot stay. She is part of the First Family. She is the nations First Granny. I'm sorry if you have a problem with it but the girls will have their Grand Mother with them. Whats wrong with Michelles mother living with them. I admire her for that because she probably wants to keep her children close to their grandmother. I admire anyone who wants to keep their families together. In my work I see many elderly people neglected by their children and its so sad. Good for you Michelle! ET how does their grandmother effect your tax dollars exactly? If anything it probably saves you some bucks lol. At least they are not hiring nannies. That's their home for the next 4 hopefully 8 years they can have whomever they want live with them. Those precious young ladies are blessed; and what is so wonderful is that they realize how blessed they are. They are down to earth - sweet little ladies! God bless them and help them to adjust to their new lives quickly! Why is the american tax payers letting Michelle's mother stay in the white house? Hillarys mother didn't stay there to help her child. Obama is acting like Bush but in a different way both think they're KINGS ____________________________________________________ the liar hillary had a LIVE IN NANNY at the whitehouse you as a taxpayer paid for her just as you did for kennedy's nanny and the nanny of every OTHER President that had a family in the White House in the 20th and 21st century. The fact is that having Michelle's mother living in the Whitehouse to take care of the children will save you money. but hey like I said you are either an idiot or just trying to stir up somethig out of nothing. why don't you send the liar hillary some money to pay off her debt and leave the intelligent people alone…. I think it is great that Michelle wants her mother at the White House. Lets the daughters have a familiar person in their daily lives. Because I'm sure there will be times when Michelle will want to be there but 1st lady duties will have her away. Good going Michelle. You and your family are in our daily prayers. How lovely… the children of MISTER Obama. Democrat and general all-around good-guy and simple man of the people will be sent to private school. Yet the junior senator opposes vouchers to simply recollect MY OWN TAX MONEY to send my kid to a school of my choice. Democrats as always: do as I say not as I do. The hypocrisy is breath taking. In response to ET that said why the grandma should stay in the white house. I don't know the details but here is info for you. I am glad if grandma can stay and take care of the kids instead of some stranger. Having multiple generations living under one roof strengthens family and may be this will teach many Americans that taking care of elders is their duty. Not rotting away in some nursing home! ET. I woud like to respond to your comment about Michelle's mother staying in the White House. You know her mother did help take care of the kids when both Michelle and Barack were campaigning in order to provide the two girls with stability while their parents were away. Michelle already said that she wanted to continue to provide that stability for her kids. Let's think about it. do you think Michelle is going to be sitting up in the White House eating all day and picking up her kids from school? I think not! ET – You may be disappointed and a bit angry after your candidate lost so miserably. Dems swept the house and now Dems are obviously solidifying their new found power but you are NOW way out of line. Obama and his immediate family will move into the white house and you are nit picking because it might cost tax payers a few extra bucks to feed Grandma. It is not like they are adding to the 16 rooms reserved for them. Get over it and try gripe about something of substance - please do not take it out on Grandma. Responding to the comment about taxpayers paying for the grandmother to stay in the White House: My grandmother stayed in our house when I was a child and I don't believe it cost very much more perhaps for a little more food. In return my grandmother read to me looked after me when my parents were busy and just generally was nice to have around the house. As a taxpayer. I don't mind at all that the Obama children's grandmother is staying with them. Small children have not been in the white house for a long time so some people are actually interested. I find it refreshing to have something else to read amongst all the the other political articles. Why is the american tax payers letting Michelle's mother stay in the white house? Hillarys mother didn't stay there to help her child. Obama is acting like Bush but in a different way both think they're KINGS______________________________________________________To ET, Hilary probably had a private nanny for the child. And even if she didn't. If you don't know anything leave the people alone. If it weren't for the mother in law. OBAMA would not be president. While they were on the campaign she took care of their children not knowing whether he would win or not. If Obama's grandma were still alive and he decided to bring her into the Whitehouse would you have a problem with that too? *** Why is the american tax payers letting Michelle's mother stay in the white house? Hillarys mother didn't stay there to help her child. Obama is acting like Bush but in a different way both think they're KINGS *** Pretty sure you've been anti-Obama from the get go but I'll break it down for ya anyway. President-Elect and Mrs. Obama can have whomever they wish live with them at the White House. For the next four years that is their home and it is certainly large enough to accomodate one grandmother. Geez this is your business how? This is great. The kids will be able to be the hostesses for the Easter Egg Roll. What a great sight that will be. The Obama kids are adorable and they are good kids. It's much ado about nothing. Also. Mrs. Robinson the girls grandmother should be allowed to stay there. Why not. The girls will be comfortable with her and not some stranger while their parents are out of town. Mrs. Robinson won't be the first mother-in-law who stayed at the White House. Bess Truman's mother stayed there as well as Franklin Roosevelt's mother. Also what first lady had children as young as these kids? We haven't had kids this young since Caroline. Amy Carter was one child. So I think Mrs. Obama needs her mother and the kids need their grandmother. There are 16 rooms in the family quarters and surely they can let her stay in one of them. I'd much rather have her than somebody who "pays" to stay in the Lincoln bedroom as they did with Bill Clinton. Michelle will be a better first lady knowing her kids are with her mother. I don't blame the Obamas one bit for moving her in that house. To ET,For the mess that our current president created in terms of expenses and debt…. Obama could probably let a 1000 Americans per day in White House and finish his 2 terms by 2016 and it still wont cost a 1000th part of what they spent in just Iraq war alone. Go back and tell this to your Looser McCain we need change tx November 18th. 2008 5:17 pm ETWAITING FOR ANOTHER AWSOME ARTICLE…….. "Top Five Dirtiest Presidential Campaigns" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-09-29 02:12:53

by Joseph Cummins the top five "dirtiest" presidential campaigns of all time:5. 1972: Richard Nixon vs. George McGovern -- The Republican incumbent Nixon brought out all the heavy guns here -- dirty tricks to sow divisiveness among Democratic incumbents in the primaries race-baiting. IRS intimidation of Democratic big wigs the Enemies List touch manipulation and of course the Watergate burglary by the Special Investigations Unit aka "the Plumbers."4. 1800: Thomas Jefferson vs. John Adams -- Wayback in only the third election ever held in this country. Thomas Jefferson of the Republicans and John Adams of the Federalists went at it tooth and nail with Republicans hiring hack writers to attack the incumbent Adams as a "hideous hermaphroditical character." whatever that means and Federalsts claiming that Jefferson slept with slaves. The close election was thrown into the House of Representatives where Jefferson almost certainly made a secret deal to win it all.3. 2000: George W. Bush vs. Al Gore -- Surprisingly not the low-down dirtiest election on record but pretty bad with Republicans acting in a truly narrow partisan fashion at every stage to subvert the democratic process and hand victory to George W. Bush.2. 1964: Lyndon Johnson vs. Barry Goldwater -- Not as well know as Nixon's 1972 dirty tricks election. Johnson's 1964 win over Goldwater featured the cynical manufacturing of anti-Goldwater stories planted with gullible reporters; children's coloring books portraying Goldwater as a Klansman; CIA invasion of Goldwater's campaign; and FBI bugging of Goldwater's campaign plane.1. 1876: Rutherford Hayes vs. Samuel Tilden -- This is the granddaddy of them all: a truly stolen election in which Republicans turned defeat into victory for Rutherford Hayes by counting Democratic votes as their own in three Southern states. Both parties used violence to intimidate former black slaves for their votes. And not to mention that Republicans extorted 2% of the salaries of Federal employees to aid in their campaign efforts or that Democrats accused Hayes of shooting his mother and robbing the dead or that Republicans claimed that Samuel Tilden suffered from venereal disease. "Obama vs. screaming baby" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-06-22 07:10:41

(CNN) – A day after Sen. D-New York stole the spotlight from her Democratic rival, for out-fundraising him in the third accommodate the Illinois senator was upstaged again Wednesday – this time by a do by during a speech in Iowa City. Iowa. In the foreign policy speech the Democratic color accommodate hopeful was discussing how he would reform the U. S use and regulation of security contractors. comprehend what one do by had to say in response to the proposal. off topic but Obamba missed a golden opportunity to seperate himself from the crowd by not voting against the Lieberman bill to give Bush authority to invade Iran. Had he voted against it he would have really showen a difference between him and Hillary. By not having done this he has given an away what could have been something that he truely did stand for change. Sorry to say but he is just like the others and really reresents no changeat all. Rich:The Lieberman-Kyl vote had been removed "indefinitely" from the docket by Harry Reid on the day prior to the vote. To the surprise of most he called for the vote the next day. Senator Obama was in New Hampshire unable to get back in time to place his "no" vote. Interestingly. Senator Reid's son works for Hillary. Coincidence? You decide. Senator Obama has issued a statement regarding his opposition to the amendment and spoke out against aggressive posturing toward Iran weeks before the vote. Did Senator Obama reach out to help that screaming baby? No! Just like he wouldn't reach out to help my poor sailor boy son in boot camp. The McEwens wherever. US There it is folks. Brianna and her "supposed family" strikes again with more empty rhetoric and no link to the story There is plenty of time to get from New Hampshire to Washington in a day if you really want to especially when you're a Senator running for president. After the fact. Sen. Obama very lamely said that he WOULD HAVE voted against the resolution. The vote was a chance for him to put his money where his mouth was but he ducked it. Finally without evidence. I refuse to jump to the conclusion that Sen. Reid would have let his son's support of Sen. Clinton determine the Senate's calendar. this guy's a joke ! what the hell is he talking about "undermining our mission?" I thought Dems wanted out of Iraq ! What's he talking about? And you sight how he glombs onto the topic du jour - blackwater contractors - that's because obama has no credentials to fall back on no experience that qualifies him for the Presidency nothing else to talk about. Too bad this is not widely known by people about Reid pulling it for a time when Obama could not get there. Seeing how the #2 is fellow Illinois senator and Obama cheerleader. Durbin. I wonder what riff this caused. Durbin sees Obama like his little brother and is very close to him. I hope you post this everytime you can and maybe it will spread for those who now lambast Obama for missing it to know the truth. Brianna can post all she wants about the wonders of the corrupt Hillary and I will just post about the real Hillary - corrupt evil and nasty. And then post about who the best candidate really is: Obama What a hilarious coincidence. When I saw him at a town hall meeting approve in August in Nevada. I was placed near a screaming baby throughout the whole campaign stop. I too wondered why in the heck anyone would bring their child that uncontrollably screams to these things. I mean think of the other people you're subjecting this to! The McEwensBrack Obama does not work for The McEwens. You always affix this ridiculous item everytime. What you wanted him to get you some food stamps?Seems like your brother is a wuss and cannot stand up for himself. You are also a family of selfseekers and good riddance to your"bveggar" brother who cannot stand on his own two feet. I am not surprised that you would bring such pettiness on this post and I have seen Brianna so faithfully do. Tell your brother to get som work or something CNN Associate Producer Martina Stewart is a friggin' idiot for thinking that what a candidate actually had to say during a public appearance was less newsworthy than a crying do by. Go back to journalism school and don't come approve until you can tell instinctively what's newsworthy and what isn't. Who is this 'poor sailor boy son' in kick dwell that Obama didn't help and that Hillary did according to the (constant) post? Was Obama and Hillary in this boot camp with this poor sailor boy that Obama didn't help and Hillary got to him first or something? What help did the poor sailor boy be? Did he get it? I hope since Hillary got to him he is now helped so his sister here can heal. The other thing is does Senator Obama know he didn't help this poor sailor boy? The sister might be remedied if she contacted the campaign and vented get some answers so she can draw closure. About the crying baby. Obama handled it terrificly knowing it wasn't a detrimental moment and that a baby wasn't just wandering aimlessly without an adult that this child was in the arms of a parent! Strange a baby was there anyway. Secondly could all the Obama haters get over the whole stupid sailor story? We don't be to go sinking Louisiana again with your tears. Thirdly what was Obama supposed to do act desire nothing was happening? He's infuriated by Blackwater. I'm infuriated by Blackwater and I'm sure the baby is infuriated by Blackwater. "Obama vs. screaming baby" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-06-22 07:10:37

(CNN) – A day after Sen. D-New York stole the spotlight from her Democratic rival, for out-fundraising him in the third quarter the Illinois senator was upstaged again Wednesday – this time by a baby during a speech in Iowa City. Iowa. In the foreign policy speech the Democratic White House hopeful was discussing how he would reform the U. S use and regulation of security contractors. Hear what one baby had to say in response to the proposal. off topic but Obamba missed a golden opportunity to seperate himself from the crowd by not voting against the Lieberman bill to give Bush authority to invade Iran. Senator Obama was in New Hampshire unable to get approve in time to place his "no" vote. Interestingly. Senator Reid's son works for Hillary. Coincidence? You decide. Senator Obama has issued a statement regarding his opposition to the amendment and spoke out against aggressive posturing toward Iran weeks before the vote. Did Senator Obama reach out to back up that screaming baby? The choose was a chance for him to put his money where his mouth was but he ducked it. And you notice how he glombs onto the topic du jour - blackwater contractors - that's because obama has no credentials to fall back on no experience that qualifies him for the Presidency nothing else to talk about. Too bad this is not widely known by people about Reid pulling it for a time when Obama could not get there. Seeing how the #2 is fellow Illinois senator and Obama cheerleader. Durbin. I wonder what peruse this caused. Durbin sees Obama like his little brother and is very close to him. I hope you post this everytime you can and maybe it will move for those who now lambast Obama for missing it to know the truth. Brianna can affix all she wants about the wonders of the corrupt Hillary and I will just post about the real Hillary - corrupt evil and nasty. You always post this ridiculous item everytime. Tell your brother to get som bring home the bacon or something CNN Associate Producer Martina Stewart is a friggin' idiot for thinking that what a candidate actually had to say during a public appearance was less newsworthy than a crying baby. Go back to journalism school and don't go back until you can tell instinctively what's newsworthy and what isn't. Who is this 'poor sailor boy son' in boot camp that Obama didn't help and that Hillary did according to the (constant) post? Was Obama and Hillary in this boot camp with this poor sailor boy that Obama didn't help and Hillary got to him first or something? What help did the poor sailor boy need? Did he get it? I hope since Hillary got to him he is now helped so his sister here can heal. The other thing is does Senator Obama know he didn't help this poor sailor boy? The sister might be remedied if she contacted the campaign and vented get some answers so she can draw end. About the crying baby.
